| First thing is, yes you can. If you get genital herpes, sore can and do show up around the anus. They can be anywhere below the belt and above the knees. You dont just get them on your penis. They can be on your butt, legs, pubic area, ball sack, penis, anywhere below the belt. My advise is go get a test done to find out for sure.
